All the 10 teams have developed their squad for the tournament if we are talking about last month then this match took place in Bengaluru where all the 10 franchises grabbed their favourite players and the total of 204 players were picked by the 10 franchises during the auction and only out of these there were 67 overseas players and 137 Indian players.

Two virtual groups have been setup by BCCI for IPL 2022. If we talk about the A group then it includes Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab kings and Gujrat Titans are part of group B.

In this match each team will play a two matches against team of their own group and the one situated on the same spot in the other group. Every team will play total 14 games during the league stage.

IPL 2022 Dates

As we have already told you that IPL 2022 matches are starting from 26th March and the final match will be on 29th May. all the league stage matches will be played across four venues in Mumbai and Pune.

Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium, DY Patil Stadium, These are the three venues in Mumbai where the match will be played and if we talk about Pune, MCA International Stadium is the 4th venue. The Venue for Playoffs and final will be decided by BCCI later.

IPL 2022 Teams

10 Teams are which are part of IPL 2022 they are Chennai Super kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Banglore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujrat Titans.

In this IPL match, the old 8 team will have allowed to retain the maximum 4 players in their squad. In addition the two new teams Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans allowed to pick 3 draft players in their squad after the conclusion of the auction all the 10 teams have inducted their favourite players into their squares now.
